Building Description:

The original building was built in 1929 as a 4-story grocery store for McCann & Company.  Additionally the building housed a seven floor parking garage which included a roof top parking deck.  The Kossman family, purchased the building in 1952 after the grocery store went out of business.

Mr. Kossman remodeled the building from top to bottom in 1969 and created a dynamic office building with seven floors of offices, three floors of parking, and three floors of retail which included the basement.

In the early 1970's the basement  was constructed into the first discotheque in Pittsburgh called THE HAPPY LANDING.

In 2016, the Kossman's ventured into another remodel of the building from top to bottom, converting office space back to garage space and creating 4 floors of corporate apartments including the addition of Penthouse level rooms and rooftop amenities.

The remodeling also included a new lobby and a high tech curtain wall with View Glass.
